is it suitable to use the above soil be Clown Loach tank's substrate?

This brown soil is Japan Nisso active soil, it state that it can help to keep soft water and PH 6.8-7.

If I use sand to be , in what way I can make the water be soft and PH 6.8 that suit clown loach?

I want my little clown loach living comfortable in my tank. :D

This is my clow loaches' tank.
I want to have some change.
There is some active soil under the white sand.

I like the darker substrate MUCH better than the sand. The sand is so glaring!

Clown Loaches tend to dig. If the darker substrate will settle right back down after it is stirred up I would use that. If it will cloud the water I would find something else.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

That tank looks very small to be keeping most Loaches in, never mind Clown Loaches? How big is the tank?
So many species of fish yet so little time, space and money to keep them all...

It's only a 60cm tank and I got five 5 cm long clown loaches.
I am going to buy a four feet tank three months later.

Well...I know one thing for sure. With time if you put clowns inside your beautifule planted tank...it wont be so nicely planted ;)
