I had these loaches for nearly a year already.
I bought them from my local LFS as a albino clown loach. But the colouration of the fishes as not like typical albino versions of other fishes which tend to be paler.
In the pictures, I used flash to snap pictures, as they were hiding under the wood, and this made the shots appear darker then normal.
Pictures here
any experts here can please advice?

They look like the good old typical Chromobotia macracanthus to me.

and to me, i think it's just the flash hitting the back of the pupil thats making them look red.

To me they look more yellow, not as orange.
Clowns can change their color. It is a matter of mood or communications with the other Clowns.
I had one that was greyed out every time I saw him. One day he was no longer greyed out. I never figured it out. For months he was paler than the others, then he changed to the richer orange of a typical Clown Loach.
Yours look like the black part is normal color. Is it? Not a trick of the camera?
What color are the tail fins? Other fins?
There are other color variations among all sorts of animals besides albino.
There are color variations that are darker than normal (Melanistic) and yellower than normal, they look pale but still have some color (Xanthic), and others. The eyes of most of these usually look normal, but not always.
There are regional differences in the colors of Clown Loaches. There is an article about that here.
These are not true albinos (lacking all color).
They may be a normal variation based on regional differences.
They may be one of the other color variations that may happen to almost any animal.
They could be changing their color deliberately.
