It wasn't labelled or priced on the tank it was in so I was hoping to get it for £4.50 like the smaller striata in the next tank over. No such luck. Can't get anything past the boys at Wholesale Tropicals! It was £6.50. Disappeared into the the thicket of plants in my tank and haven't seen it since! I already knew that about adult striata though and it will just be a pleasure to see it once a month!

it's still a good buy at that price though mate.
the one's i have at that size and larger come out quite a bit now, especially when food goes i the tank.

Thanks for the nice comments. Wish I'd grown this beauty up myself but, as it is, the striata I've had for years are all pretty small and probably stunted.
Anyway, it actually is out and about quite a lot these days!
