Hi Everyone
I am currently running a 46 gallon bow front tank that is 3 feet long I believe. I have 5 clowns, 6 albino bn plecs and 7 zebra danios.
I'm wondering how much longer I can keep my clowns in this tank before they need a larger home. 3 of the clowns are tiny but 2 are about 4" long or so. I've had them since November when they were less than 2".
Does anyone have any advice/guideline for when they should be given a larger home? Currently I don't know if I have the room for a larger tank but I could find someone to give/sell them to easily I would think.
Thanks!

@ 4" they are ready to be moved up.
See how fast they grew from 2" to 4"! They will continue growing, though maybe not quite that fast.
I moved mine out of a 4' long tank when they were less than 3" long.
Yes, the All Glass 46 gallon Bowfront is 3' long. It is a deep tank, but most fish prefer horizontal space, and are not as concerned if it is a deep tank or average. Most of my tanks are closer to 45 gallons @ 4' long, and the fish use that length for swimming back and forth.
I keep less active fish in my 46 bow. (Gourami, Angel, Hatchets)

38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
