Nice little video of the Sumatran Scooter Loach! 8)

Watching them Walk is most enjoyable!

Yeah Mick they do have the red eyes, though I haven't managed to take any decient pics, I'd definatly recommend you get some, they are expensive though they were 12 pounds if i remenber correctly, worth it though in my opinion one of the most attractive loaches out there.

Graeme, The 'walk' is funny with there quivering fins, I take you've got some? What do you feed them on, most of mine are now quite round and look healthy unlike when I brought them, but a couple still look a bit frail. I've rarely seen them feed, once or twice I've seen them nibble some bloodworm and brine shrimp, and also some Tetra prima but they seem to chew this for a second and spit most of it out. Any help?

Dunno Andy, best if you PM/e-mail him and ask. 8)

Yeah, they can be awkward little chaps to feed. Usually a few will be attracted to commercial foods and some wont entertain them foods. It's a difficult situation and you can only try different foods with hope that all can become more healthier. Also remember that in their natural environment they feed on small invertebrates, algae and detritus. 8)
