Hi to you all new to the forum just a quick question i have put new plants in my tank which have come with snails on them. Will my yoyos have a good feed on the snails ???

Almost definitely. If the yoyos haven't predated on snails before then they might not eat them at first (which is no bad thing if you'd like snails in your tank). If you want rid of them, just reduce your feeding a little bit and the snails will be loach-meat in no time.

You can help introduce escargots to the fish by popping a few shells. When it is easier for the fish to eat them it seems to give them the idea faster.

So....
If I increase feeding, does that increase the likelihood of keeping a snail alive? And, if I dare to dream, maybe even generating a population of snails?
I think to get our blue-boys to that point I'd need to replace 20% of the water with blood-worms and prawn-parts.

I raise snails in tanks without Loaches. All the Loaches are very good snail hunters and I cannot keep pond snails alive in tanks with Loaches.
