Loaches Online Forum

In my tank I have;

2 x Clown Loaches (only young - 5cm)
2 x Angels (same)
2 x Plecos

I was just wondering if I am feeding enough;

I drop 4 - 5 algae wafers in twice a week that they all nibble on and a "square" (its packaged like chocolate ) of frozen brine shrimp or bloodworms every second day, the square would be maybe 1/2 teaspoon big.

I was giving them 2 squares (1 of Brine shrimp, 1 of Bloodworms) every second day but one of the loaches started getting quite round.

The pleco's also have their wood so they're pretty happy.

Very young fish are better fed more often rather than larger amounts at more widely spaced timing.

Clowns or Angelfish @ 5cm are young enough to be fed 2-3 times per day.

Plecos... depends on species. There are some that are full grown at that size.

What size is your tank? The Clown Loaches would be better in a larger group.

The Plecos are bristlenoses and are about 3cm long, just babies

Our tank is only 40 gal, we recently bought a 6ft-er so once that is set up they will be going in there with some more loaches.
