I've seen that tank before and it's a monster! It says in the thread that it took a week to fill it up, and he filled/drained 5 times to take out all toxins and other debris. That took 3 MONTHS! The size of the fish he's got in there kinda makes up for it though! :D

thats what i'm going to do if i win the lottery!! ahhh...i can dream. i'd fill it with all manner of goldfish and weather loaches!! *sigh*

Yeah, I saw that when DH was researching DIY tanks, and I thought "Uh, oh!"

Pretty cool, though.

plenty of room for the odd loach. Cna you imagine the look on the fish store owners face..
"I've got 374 clown loach (for example) in my tank and a bit of white spot, how much protozin do I need?",
"I don't know sir how big is your tank?"
"50000 gallons"
"er, d you mean litres?"
