My rivertank.

Bought a 280 l tank dirt cheap and decided to turn it into a rivertank. got 2 2000 l/h powerheads and some PVC tubing. After some glue mishaps and head scratching I had myself a rivertank setup.
After a few months of waiting for the algae to start growing I started chasing down the fish I wanted. I already had some zebra loaches, so I talked to my LFS and the owner said he would help me. Best part is I got the fish for the same price that he buys them for from his wholesaler=really cheap!
I love Schistura and they had some nice Schistura cf. balteata so I ordered 5 to begin with along with 5 Sewellia lineolata.

Got them yesterday and they seem to love their new home.

Schistura cf. balteata . I've seen photos of yellow versions but the wholesaler had only the pink ones. Is this common? I really want some yellow ones too.

In the future I'll probably get some more Sewellia lineolata/Sewellia sp., yellow Schistura cf. balteata and perhaps danios of some kind.

That looks pretty cool!

Just a warning about the fish you've got - they tend to be on the aggressive side (not the striata though) so avoid buying any of the delicate Gastromyzon species as I've heard they really don't do very well with Sewellia.
