Spotted sewellia!!!!!!!!!!

I went in my favorite fish store today and they had two spotted sewellia mixed in with their Sewellia lineolata!!
They both looked very nice but one had a small wound on it. I took the other and they are holding the one with the wound to see if it heals in a week. It looked to be in good shape but we shall see how it does in a week. Both fish were around 1.5" (3.75cm). There was also a very tiny fish that I think was lineolata but am not 100% sure. It was less than 1" (2.5cm) in length and the markings were a little ambiguous. I took it also. It was just too cute to pass up.
Fortunately, the manager at the store is on the ball and told me about the spotted Sewellia as soon as I walked in or I would have missed them.

Congratulations,Jim!
I was able to finally get Sewellia spotted this year, too.
I had injured it by mistake, but healed immediately.

Yes, that would be great to see pics of spotted sewellia in the 2-2.5 cm range to check out the patterns. Looking at the small fish last night, I am leaning toward it being lineolata.
The larger fish is definately a spotted though as was the one I left at the fish store.

After getting a good look at mine today, I really think its lineolata. It does not have the leopard look of the spotted at 2.5cm. I will continue to watch it though. Thanks!!

I get breeding with my lineolata, its just the danio tankmates seem to enjoy the eggs.

Sadly, both the spotted sewellia I brought home and the one in the store, died.
On a happier note, the tiny sewellia (probably lineolata) from the same shipment is doing quit well. It is very active and eating prepared foods and par-boiled spinach leaves.
The store manager will be checking all sewellia shipments now for any spotted sewellia. Hopefully, I won't have to wait too long.

Don't know how you feel about shipping Jim but they've had spotties on AB lately, mostly old lottsafish.

Thanks!
I'll probably just wait. I don't have that much room right now to get much in the way of quantity so shipments are not very cost effective for me.
