Shrimp with Kuhlis?

Post by Katy » Sun Dec 13, 2009 9:51 am

Any shrimp that can be kept with Kuhlis?

Thinking about tankmates for the Kuhli tank.

And what tankmates do people have with their Rosy's?

Hundreds? Yikes!

Do you think some really little fish like microrasbora rubescens would also be ok??

My six kuhlies coexisted peaceably with the four ghost shrimp I purchased as a treat for them, even eating side-by-side.
(It was the angelfish who killed and ate the shrimp one by one. I suspect they'd even try snacking on a kuhli, if the kuhlies weren't so wary, agile and super quick.)

I have a couple rasbora maculata with my shrimp. I also kept threadfin rainbows & celestial pearl danios with shrimp but I didn't see too many tiny shrimp babies so I moved them.
