Cheers --- New to the site

Greetings...

Found the website researching my loach question. This is not the first time I have had clown loaches in my life, but this is the first time I have had loaches with Oscars.

I upgraded my tank for a 120G recently. I have two oscars which I adore, but now that there is more room everywhere in general, I wanted to add my favorite (bottom dwelling) fish --- the clown loach. I added three clown loaches to the tank.

My question is, with the Oscars being so ravenous, what is the best way to ensure the loaches get enough food? I have found if I put three (smaller) frozen brine shrimp or bloodworm cubes in the tank, enough of the food gets to the bottom they seem to eat some. I am concerned they are eating enough though. I know Oscars get theirs :-)

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Joshua

Build a feeder out of PVC. A long pipe reaches from the surface to the bottom of the tank. At the bottom is a Tee, and perhaps some short pieces of pipe.
Drop the food into the top of the pipe, and it will end up at the bottom. The Loaches can stick their noses in there, and eat, but Oscars cannot.
