Hi alll,
I am considering adding some Yunnanilus to a 90 gallon tanking housing 5 B. udomritthiruji, 6. Y. splendida, and 3 Y. caudipunctata + a few dither fish....do you think Yunnanilus is too small for this tank and would be viewed as food or would they get along ok? I have alot of rockwork and drift wood in the tank as well....

Personally I wouldn't Mike, I am adding my Yunnanilus to my sidthimunki tank tomorrow to give them more space but I wouldn't add them to a tank containing any Botia bigger than the sid's.
If my udomritthiruji are anything to go by I think they would play with them as for the splendida I would hate to think what they could do to them.

thanks for the advice MD, it will be noted...yes the Splendida are beautiful yet nasty little things....have yours grown since you got them? Mine are turning into very good looking specimens, cream or olive colored bodies with deep/electric yellow tails and black blotches

Yeah mine are coming on lovely Mike, I did manage some new photo's last week so I will get them sorted and post them up.
4 of mine have plumped up quite a bit more than the other 5 and they have grown nicely, have yours done a lot of digging? mine are digging quite a few pits around the cobbles.

Yes indeed, mine have been digging around alot of the driftwood and rockwork thats in the tank, they are quite plump now and one of them is especially dark green in coloration, I am assuming thats the dominant individual.....are any of yours a dark green/emerald color?

Yeah a couple of the plumper fish are noticeably darker in overall body colouration.
