Powerhead spec and my loaches video

I'm buying the powerhead this morning so a rapid reponse would be handy!
I've a 36 gallon tank (I am currently planning a 100 gall to replace it) with 6 4-5" long clowns in it. I want to buy a/some powerheads but I'm not surte what flow rate to specify.
I've seen Emma's posts basically saying buy the biggest you cna afford but I suspect my tank size will limit the size of powerhead I can use.
Can anyone advise what is the limit in a 36 gallon? It's 4 ft long and 18" high. I'm trying to future proof my purchase for the larger tank. I suspect a nanostream is too small but don't want to epxense of the controllable tunze which seems to be my getout option if I spend the money. Is their a better koralia to use?
My tank now runs a 2227 eheim, an Ecco an Aquaclear 4000 (237gals/min) with a trickle filter off the Ecco
