query on Will's behalf re. photographs on LOL

Hello,

Will from France wants to put together a series of information sheets on botias for the site

It looks pretty good on a cursory glance; there's an example of one of the sheets here:

both of which are basically pretty accurate to my not-quite-expert eye.

Will's query is regarding photos - he would like to use some of those on LOL and wants to know if he should ask the permission of the site owner or individual photographers. I've said that he should ask individual photographers and it will be up to them to give or decline permission as they see fit - if anyone has anything to add, please say so here! Everything should be ttributed, it goes without saying...

I also wondered if he could (a) post his text here for any help/extra info and (b) link to LOL?

(is there any plan at all to translate at least some of LOL into any other languages? a pretty big ongoing project, but we've got a few languages here between us...)

I have just checked out the site's Clown info and it is absolutely excellent; conscientious, ethical, accurate and very concerned for the fishes welfare. clearly written by a French Emma!
