We added a new clown today and I decided to take a couple of pics. Our new clown is spotty, the one with no markings on one side lol. Our Synodontis just loves the camera also.

Does you synodontis chase your loaches away? If not you're lucky I had a synodontis eupterus that has to be housed in another tank because he kills clown loaches by biting away their slime coat until they become too weak.

i have exactly the same upside-down catfish with clown loaches. They seem to live in complete armony

I've had as many as four of the featherfin synos in with my clowns with no trouble at all, at least not between the clowns and the synos. The catfish would constantly chase each other around, so I ended up separating them. The one large female that I left in the loach tank minds her own business.
