dear all,

My name is Wim van Velzen. I live in the Netherlands and work in the field of professional education.

I have been reading quite a lot here on the splendid loaches site and forum.
I have had aquariums for most of my life, and dart frog paludariums for the last 12 years (I am 37 now).

The last few years I have been working on the idea of building a hillstream paludarium with actual water cascading down. I built a trial version (well, a bit more elaborate than that) and now I just finished a large version.

To avoid copying and pasting lots of posts I just link to some threads at dendroboard and some videos I made last month:

trial version

new large tank

The videos can be found here: http://www.vimeo.com/14732333 and here http://www.vimeo.com/15123590

As far as loaches are concerned: I have several Gastromyzon sp. as well as Rhinogobius duospilus (?) and several other fish species.

I hope to learn more here and may be being of help as well!

Thank you both for the welcome!

What you see as a Lentipes is probably a Rhinogobius sp, most likely the R. duospilus.

Anyone else having trouble with the first two links? I can't open them. The video links worked fine.

These links should be readable even without registering. You can also check these (text in Dutch):
