Yesterday I got 3 Leptobotia guilinensis that were labelled as Black Tiger Loaches, or Black Zebra Loaches, can't remember which :?:

Anyway, they are now in quarantine:

Not much water current in there, just a sponge filter, so I am sure they will be happier in my large tank with the two XP3 and power head

I agree with you plaalye, S. pulchra. This species has very variable markings but they are one of the more commonly exported Chinese loaches.

The conditions stated in the species profile are applicable (I wrote it) and the fish pictured were mine too. They're a secretive fish but I luv 'em to bits. Best kept at lower than "tropical" temps.

Martin.

Well, I will have to agree with them looking more like sinibotia pulchra.
I will try to get another photo of them in a few months to confirm.

Thanks :)
