Getting rid of my brook tank - takers?

Post by Mark in Vancouver » Fri Aug 18, 2006 9:05 pm

Well, after a lot of consideration, I'm going to seek a new home for the 65 gallon brook tank. I have a 75 and two 30's up and running, and they are quite enough work and expense by themselves.
If you're in the Vancouver area and would like to think about this, email me or send me a PM.

The tank is 48 inches wide, 21" tall, 13" deep. It would come with an Aquaclear 200 HOB, and if you like, all the plumbing.... Intake is at the left end, outflow at the right. I'm going to hang on to the powerheads, but the tank would go with its stand. Here it is when I first set it up:

The current inhabitants are (all full-grown, healthy 3 to 5 inches):
1 A. rubidipinnis
3 B. robusta
2 S. mahnerti
2 large mystery Schisturas
3 M. pulcher

It's simply a matter of being too much work. I'd like to combine my remaining loaches into a 120, but I have to move before I can accommodate a tank of that size.

If anyone around these parts are set up to take the fish, but not the tank, I'd like to hear from you.
Your vantage point determines what you can see.
