Who feeds them!

Just the one picture but you can see how out-going these little chaps are once settled. Sorry for the bad picture as one hand was in the tank whilst the other was taking pictures.

It's amazing how confident they have become.

I remember how tricky it is to photograph loaches that are feeding on one hand whilst taking the pic with the other - I did that with a
Homaloptera confuzona a while back.

Anyways, you know where to come if you want any more
Y. brevis's.

Yeah, they are still skittish when the lights are on. It's when i feed them at 'bedtime' and the lights are out. They seem to become more confident and of course smell/sense the fresh food in the waters.
Fortunately/unfortunately......i do know where to go.........

So... Four boxes, Graeme? What all did you get?

Yes...what did you put in all those boxes.
Some people would say you have a problem...I say you have room.
I have a problem because I don't have the room

Does that make any sense?

I only left with 9 loaches this time. Last time it was around 50 i think.
Yeah there's not much room at this Inn, but i can sure slip in a few spacial guests if needed.
6
Berdmorei and 3
Eos for my 'Grrrr' tank.

Beautiful fish!!! I guess the berdmorei pics Emma posted the other day were too much for you. I certainly can see why.
I do have just a little room, but I think you can guess what its for.

I have been planing a 'aggressive' tank for a while now, Jim. But those pictures where sure a clincher and switched my decision on which to take home.
I can guess right, but i'll let you show us when it happens.

Very nice. Im very interested in this aggressive loach tank you have and what all you are going to keep in it. I have always like the look of the Berdmorei, but have stayed away from them.

Cheers!
I'm keeping these 'Brutius Loachiatuis' in a 5ft x 2ft x 2ft tank. I'm trying to accommodate there own territory's with good old 'wood n plants' and with selective numbers of species to suite.

Im just wondering how they get along. Is there a lot of fighting, etc. I have heard the Eos can get very nasty. I hope to get some more of the aggressive loaches later on and want to know what to expect before I even think about buying some.
