Blind Clown Loach

I have two Clown Loaches in a 29 gallon tank. Yes I know it is too small! However, I have had these two in this tank for 11 years. They are both about six inches.
About 7 or 8 years ago one of them became blind in one eye and that eye eventually became sunken. It didn't seem to effect the fishes life at all.
Today I noticed that the other eye was blind. The loach is swimming all over the tank normally, but I am concerned about him. I'm afraid he may have trouble eating. In fact I just fed them and he didn't notice.
Are there foods that a blind Clown Loach would find easier, or do they feed by smell as well as sight?
