sex of clowns

Post by love2fish » Thu Feb 17, 2011 2:05 am

Hi all, I have a 30gal tank and 2 2" clown loaches, 1 kuhli loach, a couple of tetras and 2 pleccos. Just wondering if you can tell the sex of the cl's. They seem to differ in behaviour sometimes. Do they ever breed in captivity?

Hi, love2fish - welcome to LOL! Clowns don't breed in captivity and they are difficult to sex. There's a TON of info on this site - just go to loaches.com and use the search engine. You'll definitely want to check out your little guys' profiles on the species index. There are also a lot of interesting (and good!) articles to check out.
