Dojos and siamese algae eaters

I have a 30 gal planted tank that has an overgrowth of algae. I've done some water changes and scrubbed algae of the walls. There are numerous snails in the tank that can't quite keep up with the algae growth. Would a siamese algae eater be safe to keep with two dojo loaches in the tank?

I have some SAEs in a tank with Dojos. The species get along fine. My biggest concern is the temperature requirements of both species. I believe SAEs prefer warmer water than dojos. My tank stays at room temp, about 72-74 degrees, the SAE's might like it a bit warmer.
Make sure you're getting the correct type of algae eater for the algae you have. SAE's are great for hair/string algaes and black brush algae. They chew down the stringy algae types, but the flat stuck on algae they won't eat.
I combine my SAEs with Bristle nose or rubber lip plecos to keep most types of algae in check.
