How many botias kubotai in a 75 gallon?
Question: I have recently set up a 75 gallon tank as a loach only tank. Currently I have 6 botia kubotai. I am running 4 magnum 250 filters, and a small powerhead. Substrate is sand with a few rocks, and 1 piece of driftwood about 1 foot long. I do not plan on using plants. My question is, how many botia kubotais can I house in this tank without overcrowding? I know I have plenty of filtration, but I want my fish to be in a comfortable environment.

i have 3 in a 10 gallon tank so u are fine. i only have an under gravel filter and it seems to do the job well. they are not very demanding fish. just remember that they need lots of places they can hide and rest on. you need plants in your tank. they keep it healthier. trust me on that one

A 10 gallon tank is way too small for three botias kubotai. They can grow to 5 inches and need swimming room of at least 4 feet.
Are there any other fish in with your 6 kubotais? I think you could have 12-15 fish five inches or so in the 75 gallon tank.
