I have recently considered buying some kuhli loaches for my tank... Will they play nicely with my platys, Mollys and guppies? I also have some baby platys and mollys in the tank.. Will they be friendly?

Hi,
More than friendly they might be hiding in the substrate/decor to be unseen for ages. Im not sure about he ph and hardness between the two. maybe around 7.0.

Yes, but I would say that to keep these you need a group and adding a group could seriously compromise your water conditions so make sure you have a big enough tank and ample filtration or it could end up being a bad idea. They need feeding and should not be regarded as mere scavengers.
They may, if conditions are suitable, be quite open in their behaviour and frequently seen. If not, you may seldom see them.
Others on here have more experience with them and will hopefully give us the benefit of their knowledge.
To start off, there are good species profiles on this site.

You should choose filteration wisely as kuhlis are known to live in UG filters and sometimes other filters.

I have kuhlis in with raspora and they get along fine. They really seem totally nonaggressive, but I would not be surprised if ANY fish will eat a fry that fits in their mouth.
I do see them quite often and they are delightful and VERY fast! Mine is a low light tank with lots of live plants and hiding places, sand substrate.
They are not the "rock stars" of the loach world (they are not big, flashy and out for photo ops all the time) but they and really cute fish that appreciate the company of other kuhlis, clean clean water and no agressive tank mates!
They have become one of my favorite little loaches!
