Hello!

I live in Pasadena, CA, and I had a planted tank with loaches (mostly clowns) about a decade ago when I lived in NC. I always meant to set up another tank(s) after moving to CA, just never got around to it. (Left the old tank and fish with my ex when we divorced).

Is anyone here from Los Angeles or the surrounding area? I'm considering getting back into fishkeeping and I am looking for a good LFS.

Thanks in advance. I have a lot to re-learn before I'll be ready for any fish or plants, but I guess this is the first step! :)

Hi, my friendly advice to you would be to brush up on your knowledge about establishing a mature filter and then maintaining good water quality. That is the key to being a successful fishkeeper.

There's a great online store in the US with most of the reg. Loaches called Franks Aquariums. He posts when the weather is good.
