Just found this several days ago from wild in south Kalimantan. :D
Its caudal fin quite attractive, its have 3 color combination, orange at upper and lower margin, blue in the middle, and yellow near base of caudal fin. The pectoral and ventral fins also have orange color. The dorsal fin also have orange color but not very intense.

I hope their color will up sometime ahead, here the pics,

Wonderful, Hendra! We always love to see pics of the fish you're so lucky to have living near by. 8)
Has this Gastromyzon been seen before, or is it another of your great discoveries?

I think its undescribed species, the caudal fins coloration rather similar with members of G. ridens group in orange color at upper and lower margin and striking blue in middle, but it differ in having yellow color between caudal fin base and blue color which (so far) not found in G. ridens group.

I feel lucky to get them myself in wild. :D

Also got an interesting hillstream catfish.
Thanks again to Martin for his exellent unidirectional flow tank, now I can keep this nice catfish too. 8)

At the back is Paracrossoheilus vitatus also found in the same spot.

Awesome underside shot, Hendra. :D

How do you go about catching these in the wild (if you care to divulge your secrets to us that is!)? I imagine it can't be easy.

By the way, do you have any more habitat photographs? We'd all love to see them....

Hi Emma,
I don’t have any pics of habitat this time since I did’nt bring my digicam.
This trip is really sudden trip without planning and preparation, It decided in very brief of time.

Pick area from map, just brought some simple stuffs and go (alone) !!!

But surely I will be back with better preparation, and I will share the pics if I get them. :D
