Hi everyone. I am in a bit of a situation. the loa
I have a shipment of 18 loaches coming in and the 3 tanks i was planning to put them broke when the stand/rack i had for them was knocked over. (better now than with the fish in them. I'll have to find a way to secure it.) which leaves me with only 3 cycled tanks available. so i need help figuring out where to put these guys until i can get separate species tanks setup for them.

the loaches I am recieving are
6 reticulated hillstream loaches (sewellia lineolata)
6 butterfly loaches (besufortia kweichowensis)
6 awesome Orange banded loaches(akysis vespas), (some people call them orange stone cats.)
all of the shippped fish will be small about 1-3"

the tanks i have avalible are
I have a 10 gallon tank with tons of crayfish, and endlers but i dont think they would do well with the crays
I also have a small 5 gallon sick tank that i would prefer not to use
a large 125 gallon bow tank with a 35 gallon sump filter it has a handful of endlers, 5-7 small bristle nose plecos that are about 2-4" and 5 small clown loaches (for snails I have millions of them) at 1-2" its currently heated to 75 degrees Fahrenheit, but i can adjust the temp if needed.

could i put them in the 125 gallon tank? if so would they all be compatible? and if they would be compatible, would they stay compatible long enough for me to get new species tanks set up for them?
also if you have any other ideas, tips, thoughts. or suggestions for me i would greatly appreciate it. thanks for taking a look and helping

The 125 sounds fine. How much flow? If there's not a lot, I would increase the oxygen. For the hillstreams, 5 would be good, but got the clowns I would be up between 78-82. The hillstreams need lots of oxygen. Large smooth river stones (inert) would make the hillstreams feel at ease.

Than ks for replying and helping. The sump pumps the water back in through power heads so it has decent flow. definitely has a current but its not strong enough to do more than sway the plants in the tank, or push ones that get uprooted somehow to the corners. I have two 150 gallon air pumps, that pump through two 10" long air stones.

If the Clown Loaches are currently acclimated to the mid 70s I would leave it at that while you house the hillstream species. When you get the specialty river tank up and running, then you can separate the fish according to optimum temperature preferences, and other needs, and raise the temperature for the Clown Loaches.

Thanks Diana I think i will keep the temp a bit lower for the hillstreams. I was a little worried about that. And i will be sure to add more oxygen to the tank. The species only tank will have plenty of it. Thanks so much for all the help you too!
