Platydoras and Botia ?

Post by tonyf1971 » Fri Jan 04, 2013 5:07 am

I have a Platydoras Armatulus / Striped Raphael catfish in a 200litre tank.

The cat is peaceful, I again am considering a shoal of Botia probably Zebra or possibly Polka dot loaches.

I have also heard both these types of Botia are also peaceful but I have also heard they can bites the eye’sof catfish ? and the Raphael has large eye’s !.

Anyone came across this before or kept this combo of fish together ?

I have kept the large striped Raphael with Clown Loaches and did not have a problem. The Raphael spent most of his time in hiding. The Clown Loaches liked surfing in the power head.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
