Kubotai Loaches?

i got myself some Kubotais from different sources,
Would like to confirm if the small ones are also Kubotais?

I see 3 kubotais and a yoyo.

thanks, So the other one is a yoyo, It was sold as Kubotai also .
I got them from different sources.

Yoyos have very distinctive markings, especially as juveniles. The pattern on their sides appears like an alternating Y and O, hence the name.

If this one is your only yoyo, you should consider adding at least a couple more. Like most other loaches, they should have others of the same species around to socialize with.

I already have another one in my sump tank.
there are 2 pcs in this 2.5 gal quarantine tank together with the 3 Kubotais,
I'll have a total of 3 Kubotai and 3 yoyos once i place these 5 into the sump.
Should i get some more yoyos and Kubotais?

3 is considered a decent minimum for most loaches, so 3 of each should work just fine. However, "the more the merrier" if you have tank space and want to get more.
