Hi Friends,
Good to see that the Loach topic acutally has a site and forum.

My cherry shrimps have started breeding, and after searching the internet, i realized that no fish should be kept with cherry shirmps else they would eat the babies. i have a heavily planted tank with small snails which came with the plants.

Q- Can any one please advice me if i should keep the clown loaches, are they eating the baby shrimps too ? has anyone experienced ??

Thank you.

Most fish will eat shrimp babies if given the chance, clown loaches especially.

Forget the shrimps, keep Clown Loaches. There is no comparison.

keep the shrimp in10g tank & the clown loaches in a 150g. Then feed extra shrimp to the loaches, they'll love them!

Definitely, the clowns are much better, would you rather have an explorative fish or a couple of shrimp that spend all their time eating

the clowns will absolutly eat the shrimp. I feed mine ghost shrimp all the time... cheaper than buying snails... lol
