Powerhead placement question

I have a 125 gallon clown loach / community tank and I wanted to know if this set up is good..

I have Flistar XPL (XP3 = same) canister... intake to the left output on the right.
30/60 HOB placed center
One Hydor Koralia nano 425 placed on the right end (same side as canister outflow) Positioned to shoot accross the tank.

My main question is.... Is this a good placement... its about center of the glass on the end but a little upwards of center

I'd post a picture but I'm not sure how.

IME each tank is different. It depends on décor, flow etc...but I've never had a 6 ft tank. Does that set up work for the filters to pick up crap & provide an area of goodish flow? That's what matters...

I have a 6' tank, and there is so much stuff in there (rocks, plants, giant roots like driftwood) that each source of water movement is almost independant of the others. They pretty much each keep their own area moving.

However:
Set them up so they do not cancel each other out. That just creates turbulence. You want each to enhance the work done by the other. As Nancy suggests: If the debris is being kept in motion until the filters pick it up, this is good.

My Clown Loaches will surf in the water flow from the strong Koralia I have in the 6' tank. I have the old style Koralia 4 with over 1000 gph. Sure, it diffuses pretty fast, but the Clowns have fun in it. I have that one aimed right across the middle front of the tank.
