Dither Fish Bargain!

I've been talking about getting a shoal of Tiger Barbs to go in the 6 foot 130 to act as like-coloured dither fish. This is in an effort to see more of the Clowns because they are really only active at dawn, with a few of the smaller ones venturing out in the evening if the room is quiet and only one lamp is on in the tank.

Some weird compulsion drew me to my local Big Als today. The fish gods must be smiling on me. They had a tank full of 3/4 grown fat, healthy Tiger Barbs on offer at $1.99 each.....offer ends tomorrow.

They have regular ones at half the size for $2.49......no contest.

So now I have 20 TBs swimming around in the Q-tank stuffing their faces and squaring up to one another, fins flared. Obviously happy.
