Homaloptera smithi Pics

I got 2 males (I think) And one definite female. I have had them for several months now, and they are doing very well in a 10 gallon lightly planted tank. And yes I know there is a snail problem. Been battling it for a while now. Just about ready to give up.

What makes you think you can sex them correctly?
I've looked through your old posts and saw:

Hmm...which brand? Mine (I got a few
H.Smithi's about a week ago) totally ignore various wafers and pellets. Did you find anything else they like?

Nothing makes me think that, aside from the fact that one of them appeared to have a fuller belly than the other 2, lol. So I took a flying guess.
They LOVE bloodworms, absolutely addore them. They will also eat flake food, though it's definitely not a favorite.

Yes, bloodworms and brine shrimp here too, with some very minimal flake interest. But no pellets/wafers of any kind (I tried several brands already). Not even dried shrimp.
Do you have any other fish in the tank, or only the Smithi's?

Mine are afraid of any sort of algae wafer.
They are the only residents in the tank, and it is definitely going to stay that way. I'm surprised I've done this well with them, hehe. Not willing to change much right now.
Do you have yours by themselves too?

At the moment, they are in a 10g quarantine tank. They are certainly not staying in this tank more than a month, but I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do. They really are not suitable for a community setup, and I'm not crazy about giving them a personal tank..this privelege should go to breeding species, if anything.
One option I'm considering is to keep them with Hara, who have identical dietary needs.

No, I didn't make the cave. A lovely family member did.
I used to have rocks there, but they seem to enjoy resting ontop of, or upside down in the little cave a lot better.
