This happenes morning and night EVERYDAY....you'd think they were starving

Great pics, mamaschild! :D 8)
Mine are the same, but they do their 'begging dance' around 11:30pm at night (we feed them late). I'm sure you can imagine what 40+ clowns doing the same thing must look like!!!

Great pics!

Just curious...in the first picture, all the way next the glass, what species of fish is that? Not the a cown loach, but the fish behind it.The black stripe on him reminds me of a LM bass

That's an SAE (Siamese Algea Eater) :)

You can see them both in the same place on the second pic

Do clowns normally darken up as they get older? Mine are nowhere near that dark, they are all very bright orange and dark black where these are much grayer....

And the dempsey behaves himself?

pretty fish.

doubt the dempsey will want to mess with those particular loaches. He has probably learned his lesson more than once.

Jack, the blue dempsey, is a perfect gentleman :)

He grew up with these fish and causes no problems at all. He and the Festivum have a love / hate relationship, but I think they are so evenly matched they actually respect each other.....and they are almost always together.
