Excuse me, I'm new on this site - is there a list anywhere of which loach species have been bred in captivity without the use of hormone injections?

Not that I'm aware of.

Kuhlis breed.

A few of us have bred Pseudogastromyzon cheni.

Jim Powers and I have bred Liniparmomaloptera disparis disparis

Emma Turner has bred Sewellia lineolata.

There's unconfirmed reports of some Schistura types having spawned, but I think anything remotely Botia orientated is probably hormone-induced. Lot of breeding going on in the Czech Republic.

Martin.

I saw that Mesonoemacheilus triangularis had been bred with a "spawning mop"... I've got a group of triangularis I'm trying to breed - you wouldn't happen to know where I could find some more details on the breeding of these guys?

Sally Boggs is a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Aquarium Society so maybe you can reach her through their website.

Interestingly, this corroborates some things I've seen.

Thanks!

She offerred me some of the babies last year and I turned her down due to lack of space.
