Is my loach definately a Yo-yo?

Hello there,
I've got a couple of what I believe to be Yo-yo loaches. One of which has definately got the distinctive Y's down the side, but the other hasn't. Is he/she definately a Yo-yo?
Any help appreciated.

My vote would be yes. The patterns are almost never the same and as the fish grows so will the markings.

I agree, the yo yo pattern reticulates over time into very varigated patterns. The one with the changing pattern is probably just a more mature specimen. You will see the other begin to change as time passes.

hey I really like the photo...with the slight background panning blurr.
The image would prob fall apart if it got bigger but that size really works.
mature yo-yos look so good
