Can you see me?

Not the clearest shot in the world, but MAN! This fish can be any color he wants...I didn't even see him at first when I was looking around at some of the other guys. Then he moved a bit...

He becomes quite a sickly shade of grey on that grey rock...my first thought when I saw him there was, "Oh no! He's not gonna make it.."

Wow Shari! The colour change is great to see.

I don't think I'll ever be bored watching the different colour changes of our hillstreams. Half the time we can't work out which is which either.

Our female P.Cheni's show the most varied colour changes. But I think :? I have noticed that our larger female slightly loses the colour changing when she is gravid.

She can go from very pale on the stones to very dark on the bogwood normally. But doesn't seem to change colour as much when she has eggs.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I see the same thisg from my Beufortia. Sometimes it is a chore to find them when they dont want to be found. Nice fish.

I actually thought that that was what he was when I got him...he does hold his ground rather well. And he has the spots. But I haven't been able to get a look at the mouth or underside yet...
