Those are beautiful, Shari. 8) I'm sure you'll have them fattened up in no time. Wish I had room for more tanks.....

Didn't know you were a horse trader

Nice fish.

In Uni we had a breeding pair of Leaf-Fish. Only examples in Vancounver at the time, purchased for a song from a nice little shop owner who didn't know what they were and was pleased with my (miniscule) offer for such uninterresting and somewhat ugly fish that wouldn't eat flakes.
Trade-ins set us up with a fantastic predator set-up and for plenty of beer.

The barter system. Gotta love it. 8)

the horsies are hilarious at feeding time. soon as the tetra min crisps hit the water all the clowns, horsies and kuhlis go into a frenzy. the clowns try to catch them at the surface. The bulldozer pushes everyone around, but the horsies end up scooting around underneath him/her gathering all the bits that go flying. Feeding time is lots more fun in this tank.

The clowns are so much more friendly. Even the big bulldozer will come to the front staring at me like, "WELL? are you gonna drop something in here or not????" In spite of the too small tank they seem to be very happy. . .but I still feel somewhat guilty that they are only in a 45.
