you will be waiting "like forever"
I can't remember when I got my 2nd batch of histies/rosies.
It was a long wait.
Whenever I go on vacation I try to get new loaches.
Thank god for Harold

Ya... funny thing. Went to snap a pic and the batteries are dead... currently recharging... pics in a couple hoursMartin Thoene wrote:You still own a camera right?![]()
Martin.

And he's ordering me some Puntius Filamentosa out of Thailand where they come in nice... Must have been in a good mood today

OK well I got the batteries recharged. Unfortunately the Histies will not let me get close to the tank... they ate bloodworms though...
This is the only picture I could get that isn't multicolor blurrs... You can see the orange histie on the right with rostratas on the left... I watched the tank for a good two minutes thinking they were awfully small clowns until I noticed they were the histies. Couldn't have been happer. One has a black line all the way on the back and polkadots on the sides

Its all thimble-sized stuff. The Ram in the background was only 3.5" when I measured her (in the tank Im not mean) about a month ago...

When they look this good, its best not to ask questions

I imagine when they let me focus my shots by staying still for more than half a second the pics will look even better
At the moment I'm having to lead my shots a-la B-17 gunner and shoot at an area that will be full of loach when my picture gets there
The anubias is in focus... but the loach isn't...

that's what I did.
Its a matter of shutter speed. If the fish is swimming at 12"/sec and my shutter speed is about 100ms, but the fish moves fast enough that from one 10th of a second to the next he's not in the same spot, I can't get a good shot, and if I change the shuter speed with this camera I have to take a wider shot or it wont come out, so its a big blurr or a small dot... unless they stay still or I get a better camera
