Is there a list anywhere of what loaches are compatible with other loaches? I'm looking into consolidating a few of my tanks into a 125 g. that I got for my baby clowns. Specifically, Of horsefaced, kuhlies, Botia Dario, Botia straita, yoyos, various hillstreams and waltoni, which would be comfortable with the clowns.

I would suggest that you only move the Botiine Loaches into your new set-up. You also might possibly get away with the Horse-faced Loach as well. The other loaches require different water temperatures and conditions.

Thats in the works, but I thought I was remembering that the hillstreams really prefer cooler water. Are there any other loaches that would work with them? Right now I have them in a 50 g with the waltonis, kuhlies, straitas, and 2 powerheads. Is a 29 long better suited to the hillstream setup?

I'll let the experts answer your question more fully, but yes, a 29long would be good for a hillstream tank, I think.
Have you read Martin's
Hillstream article?

Thanks, I've been looking for it. Thought the article was in a sticky, but of course when I wanted to go over it again , I couldn't find it. Now that I have, I'm going to put another powerhead in their tank.
