Anyone know what this fish is?
From looking around this site I couldn't find a match. Maybe its not a Loach.

The back pattern precisely matches a yellow anaconda. Cool stuff.

While on the subject, why do some people find it 'cool' to have a pet which could kill them? Seriously? Should you be 'affraid' of your pet?? I don't understand...

Nice fish

That was fast!
Thank you for the ID.
I'm a new member here and that was my first post. I've been looking for an ID for a long time now. Someone on another site suggested this site to search for ID but I couldn't find my fish. Is it a common fish? I've never seen one before. I was at one of the fish stores I go to often, and saw this fish. There was only one, and the worker there said it came in as a contaminent in a bag of tetras from a Florida fish farm. I asked if I could buy it, they gave it to me for free! 8)

Don't know wether you clicked the link within that post. It would have taken you to here:

A very similar species, but the ways to tell them apart are included in the text.

They're not exactly common, but do turn up occasionally.

Martin.
