Handsome kubs! Remember to clean your glass before shooting. I try to clean the glass about an hour before I plan to take pictures - it gives the loaches time to relax.

I know, I always forget to clean the glass before I take the pictures. I always drip water when doing water changes

I think mikev may have meant what does the other side of the dotted clown look like? As in, is there a matching spot on his other side? ...

Great pictures, Jason!

Your loaches look to be in as good a condition as all your lovely Cories.

It seems that in most cases a dot on one side means that the pattern on the other side is deformed in some way, it would be interesting to see exactly how.
(It is the case with my Dotty too,....but I'm not posting his bad side as not to embarass him.)
PS. Kubs are great, btw. Nine of them, right?

Yeah, the other side of the dotted one has the "saddle back" look to it. For some reason, I guess because the way the tank faces, I only see the dotted side.
I currently have 7 kubs with plans to get some more later on when I get my clowns their own tank.
Im thinking of upping my B. Striata group and putting them in a 55 with the kubotias. What are your thoughts on that?

Anyone ever noticed their B. Striata going crazy in the air stone bubbles? Mine have been going crazy the last couple of days. They just swim circles up and down the bubbles. Im not sure they have always done this and this is the first time Ive seen them doing it. The air stone is in the back of the tank behind some plants. They are so fast, sometimes I dont even see them go back up to the top and down again.
