My Hillstreams ate flake!

Post by shari2 » Sat Dec 23, 2006 9:34 am

Dropped some in at the spot where they usually feed off the rock. It was hilarious.

the biggest one was busy chasing others away, when suddenly he landed on a red flake. He jumped straight up like he'd been stung! Meanwhile, the other fish found it and were shuffling around sucking them up and making little messes of tiny pieces that the white clouds were chasing after.

finally, the biggest one got the hint that these disks were ok to eat and landed on one and ate it. They all lift up their little heads while they are 'chewing' and then bulldoze the sand looking for leftovers.

they are too cute. 8) Time to go out and get more frozen foods for the rock. And take a few pics of PetSmart signs...their (newly reviewed!) tank stocking suggestions, based on the size of the tanks they sell are utterly unbelievable.

I'll post them in the NCIAC thread later. You won't believe it. And this is AFTER they made a review based on NCIAC information...
books. gotta love em!

Well if you've cracked that nut with them, you shouldn't have any feeding problems.

Martin.
