Hi all,
i'm new to this site, and i have a question.
I have a 2'x15"x 18" well matured tank that has had a very sudden increase in snails, ( small, circular, soft shelled ), owing to the small size of this tank, which loaches would be suitable, ( if any ), for trying to keep the snail population down ?
The tank mates would be
4 x Moss Barbs ( about an inch in length )
3 x Albino corys ( about 1 1/2 " )
1 x Goldstripe cory ( about an inch)
2 x Bristlenose Catfish ( about 2" )
Any help you could give me would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Col

Col,
I am new too, so I don't have much advice at all. I just noticed that you had no replies and wanted to suggest that you post your message on the freshwater board as well. I have heard of several fish that are great for getting rid of snails but none were loaches, don't get me wrong, there may be a good loach for you...good luck.
Kris
Many Thanks
Col
Have you loved your loach today?
