Dominant male Sewellia lineolata

I know this is only one photograph, but I was so pleased with this shot (taken earlier this evening) that I wanted to share it. This is my dominant male
S. lineolata shown grazing on the manifold intake sponges:
I take quite a lot of pics of him sat on the sponges, but none have ever come out as in-focus and showing so much detail of tubercles and 'fences'.

That's about like my biggest male. They are very impressive looking at that size. I imagine that the spotties at 3" are even more so.

Absolutely!

I'll keep trying for a photo of the giant one against a ruler, but he's very reclusive.

Wow stunning photograph Emma. Makes me want to just buy thousands of these guys and put them in a 10,000 gallon river tank....ok maybe thats a little extreme but you get the idea
