Kuhlis and Cory cats [+a few more]

Post by Shadow » Mon Jan 29, 2007 10:01 pm

Im going to be updating my 55G into a 125G and I have a few Questions.

First Iv heard stories of loaches sucking the eyes out of cory's. I was wondering if this was trrue or if I could put corys and loaches together??

Another Question is would sid's and kuhlis get along?
Or would sid's have problems with cory cats, otos, kribs, small fish?

I have kuhlis and corys together in two of my tanks, and have yet to see any suspicious eye-sucking behavior  . They pretty much ignore each other. Don't know anythiing about sids, so can't help you there.

I have heard of some of the more aggressive botias bothering cories, but nothing about the more peaceful ones like Kuhlis. I guess it all depends on that particular loaches personality.

Never had Cories with Sids, but I have Sids with Kuhlis and a BUNCH of different Tetras. No problems at all :)

I've had Kuhlis and Cories together for almost a year and never had any negative interaction between them.
