Time to switch to another photo hosting site Vancman. Loachtank is down indefinitely. If you have pics there that you'd like to keep accessible load them into the new site you choose.

Sorry. :?

Have you even seen the site?

Any recommendations on a site to host pics would help me post some cool pics. I just got a new camera and been practicing.

Hi Vancmann,

Would love to see some of your new pics! I'd highly recommend http://www.photobucket.com, it's nice and easy to use.

I recommend combining picasa and picasa web album. And to top it a gmail account and voilá, you got the easiest way to send and share pics. If its not the thing you want then theres photobucket, but still picasa is the way to go ;)

Thanks Emma! :) I bought an SLR to replace my ancient coolpix 995, I almost considered the newer coolpix based on my positive experience with their macro capability. However, I decided to go with an SLR and I am waiting on a macro lens that should be at my house in a few days. I will post the pics to photobucket when I get the lens and use it.

We need a moderator to link this thread too or give some direction on the sticky thread for posting photos.
