Suggestions for stocking a 30 gal
I have just finished resealing a 30 gal aquarium 36"x12"x16" I am planning on incorporating loaches into the tank, I'm just not sure what type of loach or how many given this tank how would you stock it? Thanks for your input.

I would avoid mixing kuhlis and brook loaches. Kuhlis want more plants, slower water flow, and higher temperatures. Brook loaches need lots of rocks, quite high flow and generally unheated tanks - except in places where it gets quite cold. Most brook loaches are way more aggressive than any kuhli needs to deal with, IMO.mikev wrote:Zippers are certainly ok, I know someone who does this.
Kuhlis are ok, as long as the temp is high enough (>75F) and there are low-current areas.
Batik loaches would work, though.
