Others have mentioned recently how difficult
Sinogastromyzon wui are to photograph.....and they're not wrong!
I was checking the batch that came in on Tues, and out of a bag of 30 or so fish, I reckon only 4 or 5 are actually
S. wui. (LES.. I have reserved them for you
). I waited around for a bit with my camera and managed to get these few images from an obliging specimen:

I was pretty pleased with that last shot.

My
S wui are always either hiding or on the front glass. Plenty underside shots though.
Others? Please tell!

From what I can tell, most look to be
Beaufortia kweichowensis, which although nice, are not majorly exciting as I can order those in any week of the year from many suppliers.

Emma, all these pictures look dark to me. Maybe it's my monitor? Anyhow, compare these and tell me how my edit appears to you compared with the original.

They do look abit dark and moody which i likes, but for species index a little to dark? I can still see the full body with exceptional details.

These were taken quite far back in the stock tank, which usually results in my photos being a little dark, but they look ok on my monitor. I find that if I try and lighten them, they end up losing a great deal of colour and then appear 'washed out'. However, Martin's edits appear far too light on my screen, with Graeme's looking about right.
